Audiovisual installation, python.
Real-time simulation of starling flocking, loosely based on this paper. Starlings respond to audio input and various aesthetic effects are layered.
‘Drifting‘
Audiovisual installation, python.
Low-pixel cityscapes are generated in real-time, transitioning through daytime, sunset, night, and sunrise again, alongside kaleidoscopic visual effects. Performed as accompaniment to an experimental electronic music set by Ayala for Concrete Dreams at Mothership Studios.

‘Substrate’
Audiovisual installation, python.
Live audio input generates a variety of effects from literal representations of sounds to abstract transformations, warping images and videos in time to music. Predictive text is generated from my body of work. Performed at Ayala’s “One” single launch.

- Folk-bot: generates fake folk songs with playable chord structures
- Prophecy-bot: generates funny biblical prophecies using GPT2, including a “smart” question-and-response. Built as a little interactive program.
Theme park design
Rollercoaster Tycoon is an old theme park simulation game with a large and dedicated online community dedicated to using the game as a genuine design tool for theme park composition. The best ‘parkmakers’ will often spend years, or even decades, meticulously designing parks— including every aspect of architecture, infrastructure, narrative, etc. A website of all my various projects wouldn’t feel complete without my Rollercoaster Tycoon works, so here’s a handful of my achievements in this world, and a couple of parks I’m particularly proud of:
Cocoa’s DisneySea: full scale reinterpretation of the DisneySea theme park in Tokyo. ‘Spotlight’ winner (highest accolade possible)
Winner, Micro Madness 2019: 64-person knockout tournament
