RollerCoaster Tycoon 1&2
RollerCoaster Tycoon is a computer game from the late nineties which became one of the most popular amusement park simulation games, remaining so even decades later. A large online community exists which treats the game more like an artistic medium for theme park design, hosting regular competitions where we take ourselves Very Seriously (though many people are now grown up and genuinely employed in the real theme park industry).

Audiovisual installation, python.
Real-time simulation of starling murmuration, loosely based on this paper. Starlings also respond to audio input and various aesthetic effects are layered.
‘Drifting‘
Audiovisual installation, python.
Low-pixel cityscapes are generated in real-time, transitioning through daytime, sunset, night, and sunrise again, alongside kaleidoscopic visual effects. Performed as accompaniment to an experimental electronic music set by Ayala for Concrete Dreams at Mothership Studios.

‘Substrate’
Audiovisual installation, python.
Live audio input generates a variety of effects from literal representations of sounds to abstract transformations, warping images and videos in time to music. Performed at Ayala’s “One” single launch.

Folk-bot: generates fake folk songs with playable chord structures
Prophecy-bot: generates funny biblical prophecies using GPT2, including a “smart” question-and-response. Built as a little interactive program.
